We were recently aproached by a customer who required a new manhole cover which was no longer available, as it was a non standard size, he supplied the drawing and we made the cover from 5mm chequer plate.
We have finished it with one coat of red oxide to which the customer is going to apply his own finishing. Cost for similar bespoke covers start at £60.00.
Shown below are a pair of 12ft driveway gates and a small pedestrian gate, they are both finished in hammered blue gloss.
Below is a Brazier designed and built to a customers specification, it is built from 1 1/4” x
1/4” flat bar, with 1/2” square legs.
All
components for the brazier were hand forged and it is finished with
an oil coating after wire brushing, as the customer requested.
Driveway Gates
These
are a pair of driveway gates, again designed by us to our customers
specification with locking points and small support rollers. They are
finished in satin black over red oxide, with gold tips. The posts
were also made with the left one bolted to the wall and the right one
set in concrete.
Below is a handmade driveway nameplate which we were asked if it was possible to make, all of the letters were hand formed and welded together. It has long legs to enable it to be cemented into the ground, and is finished in black gloss with the letters matt gold.
Below is a small garden gate and sidepanels, built to a design supplied by the customer, it is finished in Satin Black over 2 coats of red oxide.
