Small Sunflower

This is a metal sunflower made with horseshoes making the petals of the flower, mounted onto a tubular steel stem, with two hand formed metal leaves, the two horseshoes at the bottom of the stem are to sit level on the soil to provide extra stability.

Large Sunflower

Butterfly

This is a metal butterfly, it is made up out of four horseshoes for the wings, the body is made up from rolled sheet steel, with the antenae and legs made from 1/4” round bar, the whole thing is then mounted onto a tubular steel post which has three horseshoes welded around the base for stability.

Tulip

This is a metal tulip, made from six half horseshoes, with tubular steel for the stem and hand formed steel leaves, the shoes at the base of the stem are to be level with the soil for stability.

Bee

This is a metal bee, made out of horseshoes and some flat bar to form the stripes, it is mounted on a tubular steel shaft with two more horseshoes welded on at the base for stability.

Bunch Of Flowers

Above is a bunch of roses in a horseshoe vase, constructed entirely from steel, it is intended to go on my grandfathers grave as an alternative to real or silk flowers, thought it quite fitting really as he was a farrier / blacksmith, hence the shoes at the base.
